StackOS is excited to collaborate with Crowd Fund Junction (CFJ)

StackOS is really excited to collaborate with Crowd Fund Junction (CFJ) to support and propel the cause of decentralization. Crowd Fund Junction is a Community DAO and Influencer Driven NFT Venture Capital. CFJ is dedicated to supporting early-stage blockchain startups to help accelerate their growth whilst the projects get long-term support from a strong community. There are great benefits to this partnership, especially because StackOS’ decentralized cloud makes all its applications fully decentralized and unstoppable. Making the ecosystem more decentralized CFJ is actively identifying and helping early-stage projects with immense potential to raise funds and put them at the forefront of the decentralized community. A lot of these projects are building the future of web3 but their core infrastructure is still deployed on centralized servers. This is a huge vulnerability as these projects have a single point of failure. This is where the partnership with StackOS comes into play. CFJ will now recommend all the projects on their roster to deploy their application on StackOS and be truly unstoppable. StackOS will also promote services offered by CFJ in our community to support promising projects in the ecosystem. This partnership also puts CFJ at the vanguard of the DeCloud narrative that will soon revolutionize the world. We were delighted to take up the opportunity to partner with them and look forward to a fruitful workin...

Supply chains are broken. DeCloud can fix it

We’ve been hearing about supply chain problems for a while now. This started with the Covid-19 pandemic halting global commerce due to lockdowns across the globe. As trade was halted so was the production of goods and services. This led to a domino effect that has lingered from 2020 to 2022 and will continue for a few more years. The pessimists say supply chain problems will only heighten from here. But we, at StackOS, are optimists. And we want to lend a helping hand to the logistics industry and propel them into the DeCloud future. Here’s how we can help. For a logistics company, the three main areas of database management are: Route optimisation, Last mile execution, Warehouse management, Above these three main areas of database management, a logistics company will require data-first help in optimising customer service, and tracking the movement of goods. These services require a tremendous amount of computational power. Widespread and Economical What’s often forgotten is logistic services require computational power spread across geographies. This power needs to be equitable at a macro-level when travelling between countries, and at a micro-level when travelling between pin codes. Such flexibility and specificity are not a feature of large cloud computing service providers. Another important facet of logistics companies of the modern age is the customer base. Because of the growth of niche product and service sta...

The total allocation received will show you the net total allocation you have received for each deposit., Allocation percentage in the private rounds of the project will be offered in exchange for the HYP bonus (both vested and unvested) present in the Node NFT, and the subscription payments after tax are applied., You can claim back your Node NFTs after 18 months while the HYP bonus and STACK payments (after tax) would be utilized to pay for the allocations., The Deposit function will need two transactions, one for approval and another for deposit. Please note that once the NodeNFT is deposited, the portal will not show the Node NFT in the current version of the UI., A new version will be released in a few weeks where you will be able to see which NFTs are staked in each generation (meanwhile you ...

DeCloud can power governments, here’s how

In web3, there’s one institution that’s derided more than any other. That is, government institutions. But the government is the single biggest employer and resource user in the entire world. Deriding or even ignoring them will not serve the web3 community well. We, at StackOS, know the potential of government institutions. That’s why we were honoured to partner with a World4UA project created by Ukrainian students and the country’s National University’s Department of Information Technology and Software Engineering. Our partnership allowed the World4UA team to enter the DeCloud ecosystem. This is the first step in our mission to onboard several government and government-affiliated institutions into DeCloud. And we know it would be beneficial for these institutions as well. Here are a few reasons why: • Lower infrastructure deployment costs Government institutions are not known for sticking to deadlines. The reason for this is not willful ignorance, but rather high infrastructure costs. On the tangible side, these include costs for construction architecture like roads and highways. On the intangible side, these include costs of computing architecture like computing and storage costs for the huge databases they have. Deploying on StackOS’ unstoppable cloud will allow government institutions to decrease intangible infrastructure costs and meet deadlines. • Create standardisation Government and government institut...

StackOS Recap: June 2022

June might have been a turbulent month for the cryptocurrency markets, but not for us. The contagion which began with Terra Luna’s collapse spread to Celsius Networks and 3 Arrows Capital. Bitcoin and Ethereum fell by 30% respectively, with several altcoins touching record lows. We, at StackOS, remained resilient and continued to build. Here’s a quick recap of what went down last month. We used this time to build a decentralized computing future and strengthen our ties with our community, and partners. You can rest assured that we will be doing this in the future, whether it’s a bull or bear market. Node NFT Marketplace Launch On June 10, our Node NFT marketplace was officially launched to trade the 20,000+ Node NFTs that were minted. These NFTs accrued a collective value of over $4 million during the mint in April 2022. In May 2022, we updated the Node Portal app, and went live with the OTA Node Portal update. Last month, many members of the StackOS and DeCloud community reached out to us with feedback on the app, and we’ve implemented it as we geared up for the launch of the Node NFT marketplace. If you have any more feedback on the marketplace let us know on Twitter. DeCloud LaunchPad The DeCloud Foundation in association with StackOS launched the DeCloud Launchpad, a capital fund to support projects building the infrastructure and key tooling of web3.
