Update on Hydro.Finance
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we’re writing to you today. We’ve been active members of the Secret Network community for a long time now. We started as basic community members and Secret Agents. We created the SecretSwap Committee and were elected as community representatives of the DAO. Although we were not the creators who launched the SecretSwap platform, SEFI asset, or owners of SecretSwap’s assets or keys, we felt obligated to care for the SEFI community and the supporters of the project. As such, our team (as prominent community members) has assisted with facilitating a transition that protects the SEFI community. This involved continually performing maintenance on SecretSwap and improving and updating the SecretSwap protocol by developing a v3 model. Our goal was to revamp Secret DeFi in an innovative way, bring unique value to the community and to push things forward on a positive note. As you are aware, Hydro.Finance was announced as a joint venture. This meant a split of development responsibilities, revenue share, IP share, etc. with the entities involved. We were promised grant funding, connections to the Ecosystem Fund, and help in development of the project. Regrettably, the development and the funding support provided to us have been different from those we initially understood. SecretSwap v3 is here!
Greetings traders and liquidity providers of Secret Network. We are pleased to announce a major UX improvement and upgrade to SecretSwap.net with the rollout of v3. This new upgrade brings a new modern interface, new features, and many bug fixes. New Interface: Along with new themed art, the interface is now fully responsive. Checking prices on mobile has never been prettier or easier, and the application will properly resize with window size changes for ease of use. The application constantly displays live pricing for SCRT and SEFI. The landing page is updated to be more attractive and present more useful and accurate information. New Features: Earn pools that you’re particularly interested in can be selected as favorites, those selected can then be listed alone at a click. No more scrolling, trying to remember which pools you’re taking part in. The list of earn pools can now be sorted by APR, TVL, or multiplier, and individual tokens can be searched and filtered. Trades now show the approximate USD amount of both sides. This allows you to see more than simply the in-pool slippage, but the pricing compared to global oracles of the assets. Instead of having to check an external site and use a calculator to see if 0.0876 ETH is a good deal, the direct dollar comparison is built in. Additionally, swapping SCRT and sSCRT wraps/unwraps instead of trading, just like it would if you used your Keplr wallet to perform the same...
