Introducing HYVE LAUNCH & expanding the Ecosystem

Today, we will be introducing one of the core features of the Ecosystem itself. This is something that will help the Ecosystem develop and thrive by offering projects various tools to make their life easier when deciding to build on HYVE. Furthermore, this article details some of our thoughts in regards to our future plans for HYVE and the HYVE Ecosystem. What is HYVE? We’ll start with the basics. By now, everyone has their own idea about what HYVE is and we’ve gotten into this a fair amount of times to date, but we want to sum things up as well as we can. HYVE is two things: A Global Directory and Infrastructure for Decentralized Platforms. — HYVE: a Global Directory. — What does that mean? Well, it actually means several things, but in short, it means you can post any sort of service on HYVE. Whether that is a task, a competition, a job or anything else, HYVE is able to handle it. Alright, why is it global though? Simple. It’s because we allow other platforms to build on top of HYVE. So if someone builds a niche freelance platform for doctors, and builds it on top of HYVE, then those tasks will also show up on HYVE. Naturally, even when they show up on HYVE they will include whatever extra fee the niche platform has set. This also brings us to our next point. — HYVE: Infrastructure for Decentralized Platforms. — HYVE is a platform, but it’s also more than that. HYVE is an Ecosystem for othe...

Integration Partnership: Bridge Mutual <> HYVE

As promised, we are now moving forward at a much faster pace than before, and this means we will start onboarding new Ecosystem Partners (see WeAdmin) and new Integration Partners, such as Bridge Mutual. What is Bridge Mutual? Bridge Mutual is a decentralized, p2p/p2b discretionary risk coverage platform that provides coverage for stablecoins, centralized exchanges, and smart contracts. The platform allows users to provide coverage, decide on policy payouts, as well as share profit, and get compensated for adjudicating claims. Below you can find a walk-through of how the normal claim assessment process takes place on Bridge Mutual. The entire idea is that any task on HYVE can be covered as long as people are willing to pay the necessary premium to cover that specific task/contract. After the coverage is purchased, in the case of a claim, the process described above is followed.Bridge Mutual & HYVE In short, we will be integrating Bridge Mutual inside of HYVE in order to offer Coverage for tasks. To be specific, let’s say user A posts a task for $10K, and user B will then solve it. User A can choose to pay a premium in order to buy Coverage for the $10K task and in case anything happens to the money locked in the smart-contract, as long as the contract is covered then the money cannot be lost. Furthermore, the HYVE team is currently considering offering a coverage pool in DAI for potential claims made on the HYVE pl...

HYVE Technical Audit done by CyberUnit and Certik

Today we are announcing our newest audit, done by Certik. We know a lot of members in the community have asked about our audits. The first audit was completed by Cyber Unit and the second one was completed by Certik. We have also been listed on Certik’s official webpage, you can check it out here. You can also find the audit linked on their page directly. On this note, we want to announce that over the next few days / next week we will be transferring tokens from the initial mint address to vesting smart contracts. We will make a comprehensive explanation / article after this is all done explaining exactly how many tokens were transferred to what contract with what vesting etc. This is just so that everyone is fully aware in order to avoid any misunderstanding. — That’s all for now, but we have many more announcements to make over the next few weeks!. — 🐝 Want to learn more about HYVE? 🐦 Follow us on Twitter. 🗨️ Join our Telegram Group. 📢 Join our Announcement Channel. 💡 Visit our Website.

Ecosystem Partnership: WeBlock x HYVE — powering a decentralized WeAdmin

Ecosystem Partnership: WeBlock x HYVE — powering a decentralized WeAdmin — HYVE is proud to announce that we are partnering up with WeBlock and enabling WeAdmin, their newest product, to be built on top of HYVE’s infrastructure.. — As we’ve already discussed in previous AMAs and other public presences, we will not only be adding applications on top of HYVE but we will also allow platforms to be built directly on top of our infrastructure, effectively powering a next generation of freelance platforms, backed by a robust infrastructure. Just as Ethereum allows altcoins to skip over the tedious stuff, so does HYVE in allowing centralized freelance & workforce platforms to skip over building out the entire infrastructure. This is just the first in a long series of announcements. Also, to give people an idea, even something like Uber could be built on top of HYVE, because at its core, picking someone up from point A and getting him to point B is a task, and so HYVE can help with intermediating that task, regardless of what form it’s presented in to the end-user.What is WeBlock & WeAdmin? WeBlock is committed to building the world’s most intelligent blockchain acceleration service system. WeBlock helps new blockchain projects get launched through their suite of products and extensive network, essentially being a one-stop shop blockchain agency. WeBlock just launched their newest product, WeAdmin wh...

AMA Summary: a conversation with CEO Tudor Stomff

In the past few days, many of you have asked our CEO, Tudor Stomff, a couple of questions about the project. We also had an AMA session last week, so we decided to compile some of the most important topics and questions regarding HYVE, the blockchain and how we see the workforce industry here at HYVE. 🔥 Q: When will you update the website and the roadmap?A: We will update it with all the new info in the next ~2 weeks, we need to add quite a few things to it. Q: Any plans to get listed on any more exchanges soon? The main volume seems to be Bilaxy according to the stats but pretty sure 90% of their volume is fake / bots, so liquidity seems quite low across the board.A: Yes, we are already planning a future CEX listing but I don’t have a fixed date yet nor am I allowed to discuss specifics such as the name, etc. I can tell you we’ve already started the process though. Q: Do you have any work on NFT?A: We are not an NFT platform, nor are we in the NFT industry. If you’re an NFT artist or anything similar you could use HYVE to work with other artists or with a dev that can build out your NFTs. Q: I am wondering about how the payment system will be implemented. I saw one of the USPs was that you can pay for a job in HYVE token for a 0% fee. How does this work exactly, does the contractor receive HYVE into a built-in wallet for the platform instantly? Are they expected to have a knowledge of cryptocurrency and how wi...

4 Ways Blockchain is Improving the Workforce Industry

Back in 2009, and for quite an extensive period afterward, the technology behind Blockchain could be used only by developers and tech-savvy people. Since then, we’ve come a long way, and while the technology has advanced and cryptocurrency became mainstream. Perhaps the most monumental and controversial period of this technology took place within the past 2 years. Even muppets joined in on the fun. Granted, not everyone remained unmoved after all the global developments and price changes. Looking at all this in retrospect, we arrive at the conclusion that from this point forward, Blockchain can have real-life applications. Following that line of thought, we’ll now be focusing on how Blockchain is improving the workforce industry.Goodbye Third Parties Third parties have always been a large part of any hiring process, whether we’re talking about traditional office jobs or freelancing. The latter one is ruled by giants like Upwork and Fiverr whereas traditional office jobs are mostly intermediated by human resource companies like Adecco. First, to understand why this is a problem. In 2017 alone, Adecco had revenue in excess of $23B. While freelancing platforms are lower on the scale due to their relatively short history, they still rack in 8 digits revenue annually. Adecco charges per/hire, and it’s usually equal to 1–2 salaries/hire, whereas services like Fiverr and Upwork charge a commission on every job completed...

PancakeSwap Listing Date & BSC Bridge

As you already know, we’ll be providing liquidity on PancakeSwap soon. The event will take place Wednesday, on the 17th of March in the afternoon on PST time. Generally, the listing should take place around 8–10PM Pacific Standard Time. Once the listing takes place, we will lock the liquidity as we did with the liquidity provided on UniSwap. We will be offering approximately $400K in liquidity on PancakeSwap, this number may vary by a bit depending on the exact exchange rates on Wednesday so we will be updating this number after the TXid has been made. The Circulating Supply will not increase as a direct result of our listing! All the tokens that are being put on PancakeSwap are already circulating tokens.Changing HYVE ERC20 to HYVE BEP20 We will be providing our own bridge so that people can easily change their ERC20 HYVE tokens to BEP20 HYVE tokens. The bridge will be published on our website on a special section. It will feature an easy to use interface so that people don’t have to go through. After changing your HYVE over to BSC as a HYVE BEP20 token, you can then make use of PancakeSwap directly. We will be editing this article with further instructions. We have more surprises in store for the coming weeks and the following month so stay tuned for that!
