After breaking into the Arbitrum Ecosystem, Ferrum and SushiSwap look to collaborate on multiple fronts!. — Dear Ferrum Fam, Ferrum recently announced that they have added FRM liquidity on Arbitrum. Ferrum has chosen SushiSwap as the DEX to host both FRM/ETH liquidity and FRM/cFRM liquidity. But why stop there? Ferrum will be merging the supplies of FRMx and FRM in order to ensure the success and longevity of the Ferrum Network.. — A lot has changed by way of our ambitions since the days of providing solely Blockchain as a Service products and incubating projects through Ferrum Advisory Services. The team at Ferrum has been focusing their energy entirely on building out their interoperable L1 network. Since Ferrum is evolving from a dApp based project to a network that will service a multitude of dApps, it has become abundantly clear that the FRM and FRMx tokenomics need to evolve as well in order to support the success of the network. In this article, we’re going to be outlining Ferrum’s master plan for a FRMx/FRM merge, why this is in the best interest of the community and the future network, and the tokenomics and monetary policy that will support the Ferrum Network for years to come. — Understanding Why - — The Polkadot and Kusama Dilemma. — For a long time, we were quite certain that the 2 parachain approach was the way we were going to go. However, as time went on we started to realize that the 2 parachain approach was becoming less and less popular to newer projects building in the Dotsama ecosystem. The two answers we kept coming back to were: All of the early parachain projects were doing it ...

Ferrum Network integrating Matter Labs' zkSync into its ecosystem,...

Ferrum Network, a cross-blockchain service company & ecosystem, has now announced it will integrate the zkSync layer-2 scaling solution into its suite of products. This synergy comes following Ferrum's participation in the Series B round for Matter Labs, creator of zkSync.  zkSync is a user-centric zero-knowledge (ZK)-rollup platform for Ethereum and is live on the mainnet. Recent funding into layer-2 scaling provider Matter Labs came from Ferrum Network's investment arm, Ferrum Ventures. Matter Labs and their ZK-rollup system — zkSync — will now be integrated into Ferrum Network's products and ecosystem. Matter Labs / zkSync Matter Labs is a pioneer of zero-knowledge rollups. The organization launched the first-ever public ZK-rollup prototype in early 2019, was the first to implement recursive ZK proofs on Ethereum, and created the world’s first practical FPGA-based hardware for ZKP acceleration in 2020. Recently, Matter Labs announced the first EVM-compatible ZK-rollup on Ethereum’s public testnet, allowing developers to deploy existing Solidity applications to a highly scalable, low-cost environment without sacrificing the security or decentralization provided by Ethereum. “When you really think about it, most of us in this space are here because of Ethereum. Ferrum’s mission has always been to breakdown barriers to mass adoption… and scaling Ethereum is one of the most important milestones in doing so. I... read More
