Constellation Network introduces Fractional Soft Node Staking

We’ve decided to reward all members of our loyal Constellation community by expanding the current soft node staking program to include fractional nodes. As network development progresses, our goal is to white list as many nodes as possible to encourage $DAG holders to build the proper collateral for a full hardware validator node. What does this mean? This means that $DAG token holders who have less than the 250,000 $DAG required to participate in the full soft node staking program may now stake their $DAG in any amount (minimum 100 $DAG) to participate in the fractional node program. Full rewards will still be offered only to full soft node stakers (those who meet the 250k $DAG requirement) as is currently the case, but additional rewards at a 50% rate will now be available to fractional soft node stakers who can stake smaller amounts of $DAG, subject to a 100 $DAG minimum. The “50% rewards” will be distributed among fractional soft nodes based on their percentage holdings of the total amount of $DAG staked across all fractional node holders. Once a fractional node holder’s staking balance reaches 250K $DAG, they will automatically be promoted to full node status and will be eligible for a share of full rewards. Note: This change to the soft node staking program does not impact the reward structure for hardware validator node operators. Fractional soft node staking will launch January 1st, 2023, with rewards dist...
