GM LayerX, GN TAIKAI Labs!

LayerX Hello everyone, We wanted to reach out and let you know about some changes happening at TAIKAI Labs. As you may know, last year we acquired Bepro Network Labs and its products: Bepro Network and dappKit (formerly Bepro.JS) and we’ve been working hard to integrate these products into our offerings. As part of this process, we’ve realized that TAIKAI and Bepro Network are actually two distinct products with different focus areas and client targets. Rather than trying to merge these products, we’ve decided to embrace this diversity and modularity and allow each product to stand on its own. This is a positive development, as it allows us to expand our reach and better serve a wider range of clients for each product. To better reflect our vision and mission of driving innovation and advancing the web3 ecosystem, we’ve decided to rebrand TAIKAI Labs to LayerX. The goal of this rebrand is to provide clarity and simplicity for our clients and stakeholders and to maintain our focus on delivering specific added value for each of our targets. We’ll be introducing some new branding and a refreshed website soon. First, let’s talk about the TAIKAI Platform. TAIKAI is a web3 platform that we’ve developed specifically for hosting hackathons. It’s designed to make it easy for organizations to run online hackathons and to help developers connect with each other and with potential employers or clients. Bepro Network is...

Polygon & Bepro Network partnership: Powering decentralized development! We are thrilled to announce that Bepro Network has partnered with Polygon: a scaling solution for Ethereum that utilizes a network of sidechains to process transactions off of the main Ethereum blockchain. The partnership between Bepro Network and Polygon resulted from the shared vision for the future of decentralized technology. Both organizations recognized the need for increased adoption and accessibility in decentralized development and saw the potential for collaboration to bring these goals to fruition through a custom Bounty Network solution. By working together, Bepro Network and Polygon will be able to offer a wider range of bounty options for developers, while also driving the growth and adoption of decentralized development technology as a whole. — What’s Polygon about? - Polygon, also known as Matic Network, is a scaling solution for Ethereum that utilizes a network of sidechains to process transactions off of the main Ethereum blockchain. This allows for faster and cheaper transactions, as well as the ability to handle more complex decentralized applications. The Matic Network was founded in 2017 and rebranded to Polygon Technology in 2021. It has since grown to become one of the most widely used scaling solutions for the Ethereum blockchain. — What impact will the Bounty Network have on Polygon’s ecosystem? - The creati...

Make sure to follow us on Twitter for future talks! — Revamping TAIKAI Labs 🍃 - We plan to start Q1 of 2023 with a fresh revamp of TAIKAI Labs. Our goal is to unmistakably differentiate our current product offers, making them even more transparent and objective while boosting their adoption rate. TAIKAI Labs — as a company — will undergo a rebranding process, both in naming and design, as we intend to pass out a clearer message to users and potential customers. This progression also demonstrates that our organization is steadily advancing in terms of both growth and product maturity. — Product development for 2023 📦 - At Bepro and TAIKAI, our main objectives for the upcoming year are to continuously gather feedback from our community and users to inform our product development and roadmap.Hélder Vasconcelos, CTO and co-founder, stated: “We are committed to delivering h...

And did we have a busy year! From merging two companies to growing the team to launching new products, 2022 has been full of exciting and inspiring moments. Join us as we rewind the tape and look back at the highlights of this year and share a glimpse of the future for TAIKAI Labs and Bepro Network. — TAIKAI Labs x Bepro Network - It’s no surprise that the biggest achievement of this year was the acquisition of Bepro Network and the subsequent merger of the two entities and teams! The acquisition addressed an ever-growing need by enterprises and tech companies to enter web3 and leverage the power of blockchain technology. TAIKAI’s working relationships with large enterprises allow it to help them innovate and bridge into the decentralized world via Bepro Network’s suite of technologies. We introduced ourselves to both communities through a Meet and Greet and an AMA session shortly after. Unifying two companies, two different products, and two teams proved itself to be a great challenge, but one that perfectly highlighted the cohesion and unity that exists within our organization. &mdas...

How hiring happens in web3

How hiring happens in web3 Web3 is upending more than just the economy and business models. It is also changing how we recruit and get hired. We’re not just talking about full-time jobs either. Other ways of work are emerging, such as bounties. These are similar to freelancer jobs, however, people are typically paid in crypto for completing specific tasks or issues. Furthermore, there is a social network (hint: it’s not LinkedIn) that has started to redefine the way industry professionals find tech talent: Discord. More and more web3 experts are being invited to join projects and full-time jobs because of their involvement in the network. In this article, we’ll explore the many ways web3 has been shaping the recruitment world and how you can make the most of it. The state of web3 bounties in 2023

As web3 continues to grow in 2023 and beyond, we can expect to see new iterations of bounty networks and more tools emerging to support developers, designers, marketers, and all other contributors to the web3 community. Many bounty platforms are dedicated to bug bounties, but there’s a lot more you can do through bounty networks. Some web3 bounty programs offer financial incentives for bug bounties, while others may focus on more creative rewards like public recognition or early access to web3 products or services. Hackathons and Bounties: how to choose the right one for your business

Hackathons and Bounties: how to choose the right one for your business While both hackathons and bounties typically involve a set intention to solve a problem or achieve a specific goal, there are key differences between the two. Hackathons are a type of event where individuals or teams come together to collaborate and compete for a set period of time, often with prizes for top performers. Bounties, on the other hand, tend to have a more decentralized structure where individuals or teams work remotely and are rewarded for completing specific tasks or achieving defined objectives. In addition, hackathons often have sponsors and partners who provide resources such as funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Bounties may also have sponsors or partners, but they tend to be more project or task-specific and may not offer the same level of support as a hackathon. Overall, while both can be valuable tools for driving innovation and finding solutions, it’s important to consider the specific goals and resources available when deciding whether a hackathon or bounty would be best suited for your needs. So, let’s go over the key distinctions between hackathons and bounties. By the end of the article, you should be able to draw your own conclusions and have a better understanding of which tool to use. Table of contentsWhat's a hackathon? How do bounties work? Hackathons or bounties: which one should you choose? Hacka...

v1 Rewards Distribution announcement

v1 Rewards distribution Following the release of Bepro Network v2, we began assigning the v1 rewards as previously announced this week. For the next six months, we will distribute $BEPRO tokens to v1 users via the Moonbeam Network on a monthly basis. This formula will consider the user’s activity on v1, taking into account their actions such as staking and delegating $BEPRO, creating, disputing and solving bounties. As established on our roadmap, each user can earn a maximum of 2M $BEPRO tokens and the maximum token distribution for all users of v1 is 500M $BEPRO.“We are grateful to our supporters that invested their time and money in Bepro Network over the years and we’re excited to start distributing $BEPRO tokens.” said Mário Alves, CEO and co-founder of TAIKAI Labs. “We have a bright future ahead and we’re working hard to make the bounty network one of the biggest web3 references.” — How are the rewards calculated? - $BEPRO tokens will be distributed based on a formula developed by our team. We used a point-based system to attribute tokens, with a ratio of 1:50 (point to $BEPRO). As mentioned earlier, there are several actions that award points, which are then converted to $BEPRO: Points per delegation = .005;, Points per delegated token = .01;, Points per unused token = .00001;, Points per locked token = .01, Points per dispute token = .002;, Points per closed issue = .2;, Point per proposa...
