The Cryptonomicon is a book by Neal Stephenson that is considered by fans to be a bible on cryptography. Multiple utilities to fight against the Counterfeit NFT Problem The rampant counterfeit NFT problem has threatened the operation and reputation of NFT platforms. If NFTs are destined to truly enter the mainstream, developers have to work together to provide standard consumer protections, diminishing the danger of these malicious actors. — The Counterfeit NFT problem and its severe consequences - When there is no barrier for people to right-click and save an NFT from the platform quickly, scammers can re-mint them on the same or another platform, selling the fake NFTs at a lower price. OpenSea — the largest NFT marketplace, once admitted that 80% of their NFTs are “plagiarised works, fake collections and spam”. It has been partially caused by the “lazy minting” function, which allows creators to sell NFTs without minting on blockchains. Sellers don’t need to pay any minting and listing fees until an NFT is sold. This feature brought both conveniences along with the disadvantage of allowing scammers to list as many stolen items. The Cent platform was a victim of the “rampant” minting of counterfeit NFTs since it had to limit some operations on Feb. 6. Through the Testing and Feedback program, aiRight has received much constructive feedback from the community about our NFT Authenticity Verifying Service, which contributes a lot to product improvement. We appreciate your specific and detailed feedback and have been applying them to build the service more completely. We can not help being so excited to share with the community the latest update on our services, which are based on the valued feedback of users. We hope this updated version will meet the demand and be more helpful for the NFT communities. One problem pointed out in the previous Testing and Feedback Progam was that our database was limited to famous collections and the time to generate a report was quite long. Now that is not a problem anymore because: - The report producing time has been reduced to 10–15 sec, x8 speed than before; each report will now have 100 NFTs with the highest matching features. - 10M NFTs from ETH and Polygon have been indexed and added to the databases and the number is increasing day by day.
